You know that old adage, 'take one thing off before you leave the house'? There’s a caveat.

Sometimes when you strip it back too far, your outfit ends up looking, well, meh.

In times like these, it often comes down to accessories to do the heavy lifting. And while “investment pieces” have their place, you don’t need to splurge on a designer handbag or heel to upgrade your fit (unless you want to!)
