A stylist's 3 wardrobe essentials.
Your weekly dose of style inspo: How to master the winter wardrobe transition, the perfect straight leg jeans for every body, and a cosy trend that's giving Scandi chic.

Winter called. Is your wardrobe ready?
Melissa Murgana is like that fashionable bestie you want to take shopping with you, and this week on Nothing To Wear, she’s sharing all her tips for layering and accessorising as we shift into the cooler season.
When asked about the three essential pieces we should be investing in for year-round wear, here’s what she had to say.
A great pair of jeans.
Focus less on colour and more on cut, she says. “It really depends what makes you feel good.”

An outerwear option.
This could be a cardigan or a trench. “Because even in summer, you might still need that light layer,” Melissa says.
A closed-front shoe.
“If it’s open-toe it doesn’t give you the flexibility in winter,” she cautions. “In summer you can wear a closed toe, whether that’s a ballet flat or mule. You’ve got more longevity.”
